We are professional Piercers and Tattoo artists. That means you are going to receive the utmost level of care when getting your next body modification. Because Nathan’s is a professional shop, all employees are Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and First Aid certified.

We view our profession as an art form and with great reverence, This also means we do not carry or sell any form of drug paraphernalia as we feel it has no place in our industry. We hire people with good ethics and a great value system so that our clients will be treated kindly. We believe that only through continuous education of both our customers and ourselves will we be able to provide the highest quality piercings possible.

All of our Piercers and Apprentices take advanced training courses and attend seminars year-round. We learn the newest techniques, proper jewelry and aftercare, as well as interface with our colleagues who are looked upon as some of the best Piercers in the world.

Our walls are covered with certificates of these training seminars, which cost a lot of money to attend, but in the long run we feel it’s best for our clients.

Asceptic technique is used in every procedure. Every needle is sterilized, used once, and then disposed of through a biohazard disposal company. We wear latex gloves that are frequently changed.

Every Tattoo Artist and Piercer has successfully completed a course in Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control Management for the Body Art Practitioner. The training complies with the L.A. County Body Art Program for Bloodborne Pathogens and the current OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standard and guidelines for regulation 29 OFR 1910.1030.

Before getting your body art we suggest that you come in well rested, sober, in good health, after a nutritious meal. If you have any health concerns, please ask us. If we cannot answer your concerns we will direct you to your health care provider.

With every piercing and tattoo we will give you a written aftercare sheet and verbal aftercare instructions.
