are tattoo artists. If you need assistance with customizing, designing,
sizing, or discussing your tattoo, we are happy to help.
One-of-a-kind custom tattoos can be drawn up, accompanied the majority
of the time by a $20 non-refundable deposit that is applied toward the
final cost of your tattoo.
We want you to be happy with your tattoo and we take great pride in our
work — we want your tattoo to look good. That's why we give free
touch-ups for the first six months of your tattoo, except in the case
of negligence on the tattooees part. |

We have plenty of reference and design material. Feel free to ask our
counter help or one of the artists for assistance. Also, feel free to
bring in your own reference material. These may include books,
pictures, drawings, jewelry charms, t-shirt designs, etc.
Tattoo Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR TATTOOING?
- You must come down to NATHANS TATTOO STUDIO in order to
book a tattoo appointment. We do NOT book apptointments over the
phone. But you may call anytime to inquire the work schedule of your
required artist.
- Although we do take walkin tattoos permitting there
is an available Artist, there is no guarantee that you will be able to
get tattooed when you walk in the door, be prepared to wait or be asked to come back later in the day. So again
it is best to make an appointment.
DO I NEED TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT?

Yes. Once an appointment is finalized, a NON-REFUNDABLE CASH
deposit of $20 is required. Your appointment will not
be guaranteed until we receive a deposit and is not refundable within
48 hours of your appointment.
WHAT IS
YOUR HOURLY RATE?
- $100 per hour, with a shop minimum $80
IS THERE ANYTHING
YOU WON'T TATTOO?

Necks, hands, knuckles, heads and faces, unless you are a tattooer and
very heavily tattooed (ie no more space left anywhere else on your body
- NO EXCEPTIONS).
- Anything racist
- Pregnant women
- People
undergoing chemotherapy

People under the age of 18 (CA state law)
- People with poor
attitudes
HOW MUCH
IS A FULL SLEEVE?

Unfortunately we cannot quote a time or price for large work. It is
impossible to tell how long a piece like this will take, but we can
generally give you a rough idea once the sleeve etc is underway. We
also ask that you try not to give us time restraints (ie I need my
sleev done in a month). These things take time and that's all there is
to it, we will work faster and more productively without that kind of
unnecessary pressure.
CAN YOU TATTOO THIS DRAWING I / MY
FRIEND / ANOTHER TATTOOER DREW?
- Generally not, we would of
course use any drawings you have as
reference, but the final design will be our own drawing and design. If
it has our
name attached to the piece of work, we want it to look the best it can
for both yours and our sake.
CAN I HAVE
AN APPRENTICESHIP OR A JOB?

Unfortunately, we will not be hiring any apprentices or staff. The
premises is a perfect size for the number of people we have already and
none of the artists wish to take on apprentices.
